1. Status
This Framework describes the principles under which 1×1 FRAME intends to share revenue with Creators in future seasons. It is published in advance of activation so that Creators may join the Platform with a clear understanding of the direction of travel. Until expressly activated by notice on the Platform, no monetary obligation arises under this Framework.
2. Principles
We commit to three principles: transparency — the formula and inputs will be public; proportionality — distributions follow contribution to the season's editorial value, not raw view counts; predictability — pool sizes and distribution dates will be announced in advance of each cycle.
3. The Creator Fund
The Creator Fund is a pool funded by a defined percentage of net Platform revenue from Viewer Memberships and one-off submission fees, after payment processing costs, hosting costs, and applicable taxes. The percentage for the first activated cycle will not be lower than thirty percent (30%) of net Viewer Membership revenue.
4. Eligibility
A Creator is eligible for a distribution from the Fund for a given cycle if, during that cycle: (a) the Creator's account is in good standing; (b) at least one of the Creator's Films is part of the active Archive; (c) the Creator has accepted the most recent version of this Framework via the Platform.
5. Allocation
Allocations are computed per cycle from a blended score combining: (a) Council editorial weighting of the Creator's Films included in the cycle; (b) audience signal, measured through completion-weighted plays by authorized Viewers, capped to discourage gaming; (c) award and selection bonuses for the cycle. Raw public view counts are not used and will not become a primary input.
6. Payments
Distributions are paid in Euro via Stripe Connect or a comparable payout provider. The Creator is responsible for providing accurate tax information and for declaring received amounts to their tax authorities. Distributions below a published minimum threshold roll over to the next cycle.
7. Reporting
For each cycle we will publish: total Fund size, number of eligible Creators, allocation methodology, and aggregate distribution statistics. Individual Creator statements are visible to the Creator in their Dashboard.
8. Disputes
A Creator may request a written explanation of any distribution within thirty (30) days of receipt. Good-faith corrections will be applied to the next cycle.
9. Changes
We may revise this Framework. Material changes that affect the calculation of distributions will be announced at least sixty (60) days before they take effect, and will not apply retroactively to cycles already closed.
10. No Guarantee
Participation in the Platform does not entitle any Creator to a minimum distribution, and the Fund may, in extraordinary circumstances disclosed in advance, be suspended for a cycle.
